DIEGO RIZZO
I´m Diego Rizzo a photographer in love with creation and nature and I could say that I am addicted to active volcanoes, nothing else bumps my skin as lava does!!!
I am married to a beautiful wife and have 2 beautiful girls that make my day tiring but funny and blessed at the same time. I am a Christian and a believer that God created everything we see and there is nothing I enjoy more than being in a lonely place watching and photographing the creation with a cup of coffee!
I have been featured on Nikon´s USA and DPReview review of the Nikon Z 6 camera, produced at Acatenango, Fuego, and Pacaya volcanoes, without a doubt a huge opportunity!! Also, I´ve been featured as APOD (Astronomy Picture Of the Day of NASA) with 2 of my photos, and one of those photos was included on the NatGeo Calendar in 2019 aside from amazing photographers as Babak Tafreshi and Paul Nicklen!!
Locally we currently produce with our company, videos and photographs for Subaru Guatemala all around Guatemala and its landscapes, have made productions for Ministerio de Educación de Guatemala, Calidad Inmobiliaria, Restaurant Rincón Suizo, Tori Ramen to mention some of them.
What´s the thing I can´t live without?
Definitely and without a doubt, it is COFFEE!! can´t live without one, or two or three cups, maybe, just maybe four cups o coffee! Every person close to me will know that I love coffee and I have the luck enough to live in one of the best coffee quality producer countries in the world. So be sure, that coffee won´t lack on my workshops!!
YES! I am always carrying coffee and a coffeemaker aside from my camera! ;)
Favorite food?
Mmm, could say that is pizza, but competes with Japanese food too! also with some of the Guatemalan dishes that is always a pleasure to sit at the table and take the time to eat them, with some handmade tortillas!
Favorite hobbies?
Does being out shooting photos sound too obvious? hehe, sorry but it is true!
Also, I am an animal lover so, having an aquarium at home is so relaxing!
Best moments exploring out?
Definitely when I am with my family!!! there is nothing I love more than these 3 beauties get with me to a volcano and play around the rocks with them!!
Here we are on an old lava flow at Pacaya volcano, I am so blessed to have they in my life, I don´t deserve them but I am the luckiest guy!!!
